How would you like to turn your ordinary tap water into soda? With the Fountain Jet home soda maker from SodaStream you can do just that!  Besides impressing the kids, there’s plenty of reasons to get one of these machines. With the Fountain Jet soda maker, you reuse 1 liter (BPA free) bottles. Think about how that would save on recycling! Also there’s no need to run to the store for soda anymore, since you can make it right at home. A big plus about their soda flavors (besides the great selection) is that the regular flavors contain no high-fructose corn syrup, and diet flavors are sweetened with Splenda, not aspartame. I can’t stand that weird aftertaste of aspartame. Each of these bottles of flavors make 12 liters (about 33 cans) of soda!

The Fountain Jet home soda maker from SodaStream is so easy to use! It doesn’t use any power, so you can put it anywhere. After you hook up the included carbonator tank, you just fill up the (also included) 1 liter bottle with cold tap water. Press the button on top of the machine 3 times to get some fizz.

Now enjoy your fresh soda!

We’ve really been enjoying this machine. Ed loves the Diet Root Beer and the Orange flavors. Jake enjoys the Diet Cola, and I really like the Berry Flavor Essence (it’s more like flavored sparkling water than soda).

We haven’t run out of the carbonator yet, but replacement looks to be easy. You can either go to select stores in your area, or arrange for a pickup at your house in order to exchange the tank.

Rating: We seriously love our soda maker. It’s really easy to use, it saves on soda in the long run, it’s environmentally friendly, and all of us think the flavors are great.
