We got the kids a nice amount of presents for Christmas this year. In fact I’m perfectly pleased with the amount. Jake got a train table and 10 other gifts, Juliet got a play kitchen (which I think Jake might actually like more ) and 10 other gifts. We were able to find some great deals on amazon.

And my kid’s grandparents always get them a lot of Christmas gifts.

But this year is crazy! Jake’s autism class went to a party at the Elks Club, and he got two gifts there.  A Trouble game and a Hess Helicopter. I asked Jake if he wanted to keep the toys, or give them to some other kids who didn’t have any presents. He chose to donate them (that’s my boy!) and we dropped them off at the mall for Toys for Tots.

Jake’s father is getting him a bunch of clothes and a Wii this year.

On top of that, the agency that Jake gets his therapy from just dropped off two big bags of wrapped presents. One for Jake that has 9  presents and one for Juliet that has 4 presents.

WOW

Where are we going to put all this stuff?! I plan on letting Jake open the gifts from the agency on Christmas morning because he saw them all wrapped up, and Jake LOVES to unwrap presents. Then I guess they will be donated.

We’ve never had so many gifts come in the house…Crazy!
